SUMMER CAMPS

An exciting summer is just around the corner at the Amarillo Museum of Art's 2010 Summer Art Camps. Our camps provide children with a range of classes and themes to fit any artistic interest. The Museum is the perfect place to learn about art and discover the budding artist in everyone. At summer art camp, children have the opportunity to draw, paint, sculpt, work with clay, or experiment with mixed media. Students are encouraged to explore their imagination and creativity while making their own artistic masterpieces.

All children's classes are taught by experienced art educators. Please note that camps run Tuesday through Friday, as the Museum is closed on Mondays. Enrollment fees cover all art supplies, a mid-morning snack for the three hour camps, and a 2010 Summer Art Camp t-shirt. Because art can be messy, children should wear old or play clothes to class. Unruly behavior is not acceptable and will result in dismissal from the Summer Art Camp without a refund. Enrollment is limited so register early by calling the Museum at 371-5050. Registration is not complete until tuition is paid in full. Tuition for camps is due by May 20th.
