The Amarillo Museum of Art is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am - 5 pm with extended evening hours until 9 pm on each Third Thursday. Saturday and Sunday the Museum is open from 1 pm - 5 pm except for exhibition installation weeks. There is no admission fee.
AMoA parking is located east of the museum off of S. Van Buren Street. Two visitor parking spots are available at all times, and additional parking may be found in remaining lot. No parking pass needed.
Take the Washington Street exit, 69B. Go south on Washington Street (toward CVS) for 0.3 miles until the light at W. 22nd Avenue. Turn left (east) at W. 22nd Avenue and drive 0.2 miles (passing Amarillo College on the right) until you meet S. Van Buren Street. AMoA is on the corner of W. 22nd Avenue and S. Van Buren Street on the right.
Take the Washington Street exit, 122B. Going under the overpass, turn north on Washington Street (toward Taco Bell) and drive 0.9 miles until the light at W. 22nd Avenue. Turn right (east) at W. 22nd Avenue and drive 0.2 miles (passing Amarillo College on the right) until you meet S. Van Buren Street. AMoA is on the corner of W. 22nd Avenue and S. Van Buren Street on the right.
