The Amarillo Museum of Art is very grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pool. Their generous sponsorship made this exhibition and catalogue possible. The Museum is especially appreciative of the assistance, dedication and passion of Gary Biggers, Amarillo High School Humanities teacher and caretaker of the school’s art collection. He has worked selflessly for years to preserve the collection for future generations. His devotion is immeasurable.
As always, our exhibitions would never be realized without the Museum’s staff. Their diligence truly makes such shows possible. We must remember that all of their efforts become invisible once a show begins because our hope is that viewers will engross themselves in the artwork. This seamlessness, though, can cause us to take for granted the thoroughness and attentiveness they have invested. Therefore, the Museum’s Board of Trustees and I would like to express our sincerest appreciation of their hard work.
