Mike and Dalia Engler have built an extensive collection of artworks by internationally renowned artists; many of whom work within a modernist, reductive, or concrete-minimalist aesthetic. In addition to paintings and drawings, the Englers also have a substantial collection of glass, sculpture, and photography. Included in the exhibition will be works by Joseph Marioni, Agnes Martin, Florence Pierce, Sir Anthony Caro, Lino Tagliapietra, and Hiroshi Sugimoto among others. Each of the artworks in this exhibition calls for close observation, contemplation, and the active participation of the viewer.

Tsakli performed an important role in the training of Buddhist monks and lay persons. They served the necessary function of flashcards as aids to memorization. Tibetan saddle blankets were originally woven as a protective covering for a horse and often in sets. They are a relic of a time when art and utility were one in the same.
